Welcome to issue 190 of The GameOn Magazine! The fans are blowing full force across GameOn Towers as I type, and the sun is threatening to melt the parking lot. But, our PCs and consoles have high-tech cooling solutions which I don’t fully understand, so swings and roundabouts.
Amongst our articles this month are looks at being a bad Borderlands fan, the recently-announced Deadpool VR, and Helldivers 2. Someone also played too much League of Legends (by their own admission!), and we’ve got a new From The Top! We also have an interview about Quantum Witch.
On the preview front, both TurretGirls and Is This Seat Taken? are releasing this month, and the other three games are already out in Early Access. One even fits with our Book Lovers Day article (celebrate it yourself on 9th of August).
Finally, our reviews have Dylan absolutely Lost in Random: The Eternal Die, Bex trying to Date Everything!, and Jacob engaging the Star Overdrive. Of course, Violet put a spell on Quantum Witch, Mike lived his best FANTASY LIFE i: The Girl Who Steals Time, and Joshua played the Crown Gambit.

I'm glad one of my late-night Steam browsing sessions led me to this little gem from HiKing Mind Studio. Developed and published by NikkiJay, Quantum Witch is a pixelated 2D narrative-driven adventure that I feel is best described by one of the (clever) sentences on the Steam page: \"Not an action platformer: a story PLOTformer — you're here for the narrative!\". In it, we embody a 20-something shepherdess named Ren, a charismatic character who starts off her day looking for her lost flock and ends up caught up in a situation that could (and can and probably will, depending on how many times you play it) end her world.
