Welcome to issue 180 of The GameOn Magazine! It’s the maximum score on a dart board with three darts, and it means we’re less than two years away from our 200th monthly issue! Okay, so did issue 179, but you get my point.
We’re back to our usual amount of writings this month, and since it’s October we’ve got a spooky theme! Yes, we have Halloween articles! And before you ask why we used an image of The Pumpkin King, it’s from the Nightmare Before Christmas videogame from years ago. But as well as getting spooked out, you can read about what it’s like to play Black Myth: Wukong without opening any chests, get some alternatives to Animal Crossing Pocket Camp, and discover discourse on which Arkham game slapped hardest.
Then our previews have Alana on a Rocket!, Joshua skating to Goons: Legends & Mayhem, and Bex being a Tavern Keeper.
Our reviews were, unfortunately, not all 8/10 despite me asking our staff to score appropriately for our numbering… But there are a few of them! Often followed by a .5… Such as Office Fight, a game not based on working at GameOn. Alana jumped Five Nights At Freddy's: Into the Pit, Bex fell in Love, Ghostie, and Alyssa struck The Casting of Frank Stone. Meanwhile, Dylan caused some Gori: Cuddly Carnage, Violet took The Exit 8, and Mike donned the Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown.
