In this issue

Welcome to issue 170 of The GameOn Magazine! I’ve been writing these for 100 issues now barring one or two, and I still never quite know what to write when it’s — wait this is the Christmas issue, I’ll write about that! Merry Christmas to those who celebrate, and if you don’t then I hope you have a happy whichever holiday you do celebrate if any!

In our articles this month, we have a selection of articles based on reviews in this very issue, as well as our regular features. We also plucked some Christmas-themed articles from Father Christmas’ sleigh and stuffed them within these pages!

There’s an interview with the developer of HOT WHEELS UNLEASHED 2 - Turbocharged too, for those racing fanatics who want something more arcadey than our cover feature. There’s a review for the game later, too, so I was glad that they could see us before this issue went to press!

Our previews are mopping up the games that had previously been marked for a “2023” release, as well as some that entered Early Access. There are floating islands, the planet Mars, cats… lots of stuff.

Our reviews this month include Artura experiencing the Bang-On Balls: Chronicles, Dylan battling the Wizard with a Gun, and Mike getting emotional with CRYMACHINA. Then Tina put on a helmet and decided to The Lord of the Rings: Return to Moria, while Steven raced through EA SPORTS WRC. This next one is actually true: Bennett specifically asked to review Skull Island: Rise of Kong, and that’s funnier than any pun that I could have written.
