Due to our publishing deadlines, this is our Christmas
issue! So, we hope you’re having a great holiday
period and that you’ll be giving some great gifts to
those you care about.
Not to be bogged down by the holiday spirit, our
articles this month include a look at games that began
life as Half-Life mods, eight things to do in Gotham
Knights, and no fewer than six pieces about games
with big anniversaries! Some of the games are over 20
years old! It’s Colony Wars, in case you couldn’t wait
to find out.
Then we have two interviews, one with a team
member behind Lil Gator Game, and the other with a
team member working on Venba.
In the preview department Spooky flew the Forever
Skies, Nathan visited Coral Island, and Artura played
with PaperKlay. None of them had release dates
when I wrote this, so keep an eye out for them!
Finally, our reviews have some big titles, some
smaller ones, a sequel or two, and even a 10/10! Bex
got lovey-lovey with Kaichu - A Kaiju Dating Sim, Alana
felt the Terror of Hemasaurus, and Jase reached pole
position in FLASHOUT 3. Meanwhile, Mike was being
the best Football Manager 2023 he could be, and Niall
joined the war effort in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare
