CALL OF DUTY WWII - From Normandy to the Hürtgen Forest, en route through emotional pain and thousand-yard stares, find out if the decision to return to COD’s roots (and cast Transformers actor Josh Duhamel) pays off. Oh, and also just how zombie mode fits into all this.

INJUSTICE 2 - The DC superhero scrapper stakes a claim for the best special moves in the business: Harley sics hyenas on opponents, Scarecrow rips them through rifts in reality, and Aquaman literally conjures the entire ocean. Special, but also grossly irresponsible. 

DESTINY 2 - Use the words ‘Guardian’, ‘Sun’, and ‘Express’ and people think ‘newspaper’, but we’re talking about the time our Guardian’s solar flares burned the face off aliens very quickly. Our hands-on is less misleading. 

DARKSIDERS III - War leads to Death, Death leads to Fury, and Fury leads to an ungodly amount of hurt for the Seven Deadly Sins.

Star Wars Battlefront II - Turn to both the light and the dark in eraspanning multiplayer, or go morally grey with the campaign’s not-all-bad antihero. Our indepth coverage brings balance to the Force.

ARMS - Hands-on with the motion-controlled boxing game in which a slimy green strain of DNA called Helix, a chunky bandaged-up corpse called Master Mummy, and a man with spring arms called (wait for it) Spring Man batter each other like elasticated Anthony Joshuas.  

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe - He who tires of Mario Kart tires of life. The definitive version of the Wii U racer brings over all DLC, including the brill Zelda and Excitebike courses, taking the track total to 48, and preventing us ever tiring again. 

Outlast 2 - Okay, let’s see here. Satanism, evil cults, medieval torture… yep, this is a hideously upsetting horror game alright.

Middle-Earth: Shadow of war - Sauron thinks he’s the only one with an army of orcs, trolls, and dragons? He’s in for a surprise… Join us as we go behind the scenes on the incredible new sequel.

Mass Effect: Andromeda - We’ve charted new worlds, battled strange alien foes, roared our six-wheeled Nomad down massive slopes, and found love among the stars. Oh, and we’ve seen some dodgy faces too.

Splatoon 2 - Colour one, colour all in this team-based arena splat-’em-up. After going hands-on, we’ve got more than an Inkling that Nintendo Switch’s best competitive multiplayer game is a Picasso in the making. See what’s up with the new weapons, stages, and campaign mode.
