In the recent years, the impact of fashion on the globe has been undeniably  powerful, especially as African fashion makes its way into the world mainstream fashion creating a  rise in what is dubbed ‘Afro-Fashion’. Funke’s story is not just empowering, but also a huge step forward to creating that balance in the diversity narrative.
