Magazine Description

In this issue

IT’S HARD TO BELIEVE THAT WE ARE ALREADY PRESENTING YOU WITH THE TWELFTH ISSUE OF BARBEREVO. TIME FLIES WHEN YOU’RE HAVING FUN! OUR FIRST OFFICIAL ISSUE OF 2020 IS A REAL SPECIAL ONE TOO, ALTHOUGH I GUESS I’M A LITTLE BIASED. Photographer and founder of American Crew, David Raccuglia, shot our cover image for an exciting new campaign with the DERT foundation in collaboration with Paul Wilson and DERT founders Ernesto and Marcos Chavez. In an added exclusive, David talks to us exclusively about what we can expect from the American Crew All Star Challenge in 2020 and the new Style Makers campaign. It’s a real honor to have the likes of them included in BarberEVO magazine and we are thrilled to be sharing their story. Our barber of the issue is educator extraordinaire Gabrielle Davis, who shares stories from her exciting career, and we take a stroll down memory lane, exploring the history of the barber industry with the NYC Barbershop Museum and photographer Rob Hammer. Elsewhere, we find out what trends will be at the forefront of male grooming in 2020 and discuss recruitment with our expert columnists, alongside UK barber Luke Dolan, and take a look inside the barber tool kit, finding out what tools barbers simply can’t live without and why. We go inside some of the most beautiful barbershops in Montreal, talk to Russia based barber and photographer Roman Solo and check out colorful London barbershop, R.W. Wolf. As always, we strive to bring you the best in the industry, from innovation to advice, education to culture, this magazine remains a conduit for this incredible industry.
