Confluence South Asian Perspectives Magazine - November 2017

Confluence South Asian Perspectives Description:
“Confluence” was founded in 2002 and since its inception it has attracted a great variety of readers world wide. The word “Confluence” means meeting point or a flowing together.
The vast majority of writers who contribute articles to the journal come from a South Asian background and have been writing articles on topics related to South Asian culture, politics, arts, music, travel and technology. Most of them are very talented and highly respected authors and we have also introduced many new writers for over twelve years.
We have attracted a dedicated group of readers who consider Confluence to be unique in its content and the quality of writing. Our readers belong to an age group of between 18 and 80 who enjoy the range of well-informed articles and essays by academics, journalists, critics, novelists and poets. Many articles from Confluence have been reproduced in other journals and have been quoted by academics in their publications too.
Everyone would agree that the internet and social media have changed our lifestyles. More and more readers are now looking forward to online magazines on their mobile devices rather than the old fashioned print magazines. Taking advantage of this growing trend Confluence is now available online on a variety of platforms, reaching our readers instantly while easily accessible from any mobile device.
