In the near future Scotland has been left a post-apocalyptic wasteland, due to a plague that has swept the country. Ordinary people struggle to survive from day to day.  As a result of the plague witches now walk among us, hunted down and forced to stand trial by specialist freelance witch-hunters.

One such witch-hunter is Thomas Mackie who, along with his talking dog Dex, hunts for only one reason – to earn enough bounty to have a better life. Things take an unexpected turn when Mackie’s latest target, Miranda Lee, blackmails him into helping her act out a dangerous plot to cure the plague once and for all.

Chapter Three opens with a town aflame, witch-hunters stalking the shadows and Miranda in grave danger. Meanwhile Mackie is forced to make a decision that will either give him everything he's dreamed of, or leave the pair with a heavy bounty on their heads. It'll take some fast thinking, and Dex's help to save the lives of Miranda and the townspeople in time. 

Chapter Two finds our rag-tag trio continuing their fight against ominous organisation Reneco and trying to end the Plague, one town at a time. Hunted and pushed to breaking point, Miranda and Mackie are forced to depend on each other more than ever. It's not long though, before their new friendship is tested by a figure from Mackie's witch-hunting past who threatens everything they've fought for.
