You might be wondering what this magazine you are virtually paging through is. It could be that you have never heard of it. This is because connect normally appears in German. And it has since 1993. In the past 20 years, the magazine has developed into the leading test medium and practical guide for telecommunications and mobile communications in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

The focus is on neutral tests of smartphones, tablets and other telecommunications equipment - but we also examine networks, fares and software. With proverbial “German thoroughness“, we create reproducible, objective evaluations for virtually any type of technical products in our test lab.

With this first edition of connect english, we would like to give international readers access to our market and testing expertise. That‘s why we‘ve selected comparative and individual tests from the German connect issues in the first quarter of 2015, translated them into English and summarized them into a sort of “best of“ issue. You will find our unique top lists here, which clearly document the test results of recent years.

If the language seems a little “bumpy“ at one point or another, please excuse this. The main focus is our testing expertise. We hope you enjoy reading our first English issue!
