Our 2015 issue is centered around sustainability. In "Small Spaces, Big Questions" Michelle Peters explores the possibilities of living small. Urban beekeeping and "Think Before You Eat" present more options around choices the reader can make to lessen their impact on the Earth.

The 2014 issue of Pacific Rim Magazine highlights the issues around shark conservation and whether shark-related ecotourism could generate more revenue than shark consumption. Canada’s Seasonal Agriculture Worker Program is viewed through the stories of the people that travel thousands of kilometres, leaving their families behind, to work in the fields in British Columbia. These stories, and more, examine the connection of Vancouver to the Pacific Rim.
