For this issue, our crew shot in New York City, Nassau and Cat Island in the Bahamas. The cold and snowy weather in New York brought about massive flight delays that affected our wardrobe, models, schedules, deadlines and so much more. Needless to say, our creative director, fashion editor, make-up artist and fashion stylist fought through it all juggled between working New York Fashion Week, numerous photo shoots and interviews to make this issue come to life.

The tents at Bryant Park in New York, venue for New York Fashion Week for 16 years has come to an end. Next season will launch a brand new venue for the shows - Lincoln Center. Fall 2010 closed out Bryant Park with a grand finale’ that included the stellar production by our own Caribbean `uber’ super-model Naomi Campbell, who raised more than $1 million in a benefit fashion show for Haiti. She closed out the gigantic collection which feature 100 designers with a fitting tribute to her friend, the talented and innovative British fashion designer, Alexander Mc Queen who took his own life days earlier.
