In this issue

We are kicking of the new year at Quilters Companion by exploring how to make the Dresden plate block by machine with Jane Davidson. She adds extra interest by piecing designs inside each of the blade segments! Robyn Shapiro, who loves to create hexagon quilts using Liberty fabrics, is joining QC for the first time, as is Kristy Cleverly. We have three lovely traditional quilts to choose from, including Marj Yip’s Gentleman’s Nine-Patch, Anne Sommerlad’s Scrappy Stars and a precut-friendly quilt from Sharon McConnell. If you want a smaller project to start the year, we are sure you will love Shelley Kelly’s bag. Michelle Marvig will be reporting on her latest trip to Europe with Travelrite and there is plenty more.
