Estamos en tiempos difíciles donde muchos medios se están yendo a buscar nuevos caminos, desde G7 aquello nos entristece mucho. Pensamos que si bien el mundo digital es lo nuevo, donde hoy todo se apuesta, también creemos que el olor al papel se va a extrañar, la buena fotografía tiene otra mirada desde una hoja, mojarse los dedos y pasar una página no se parece en lo más mínimo al touch de una pantalla, ya no tendremos la ilusión de atesorar ediciones en algún rincón especial de nuestro hogar ni volver a tocarlas con entusiasmo a lo largo de los años, ¿como nos dedicará la primer página nuestro escritor preferido? ¿no tendremos más libros dedicados por quienes nos aman?  Entendemos que hoy viajar en el colectivo y mirar el celular para informarte no te dá la misma sensación que sentarte en el living de tu casa, oliendo el aroma a café recién hecho y leer una buena nota, página a página, no queremos que eso se pierda, es por eso que seguimos intentando, seguimos haciendo cada número con toda la pasión que nos caracteriza, G7 es una revista en papel y queremos que perdure en el tiempo.  Creo que todos nos tenemos que reinventar, pero no creo que lo bueno tenga que morir, capaz sea por un rato ¿no? Todo vuelve, me quedo con esto. La moda hoy nos trae los discos de vinilo, las Polaroid y sus instantáneas o remakes de películas que nos marcaron en nuestra infancia como hace muchos años atrás.

Me pongo a mirar un poquito hacia atrás y parece que hubiera pasado todo ayer. Ese primer día cuando toqué el timbre en El Salvador 5928 y un chico muy extraño con pelos de colores y antejos de sol me abrió la puerta y me invitó a sentarme en un sillón que se hacía cama. Esa primera tapa con el mapa de Chivilcoy… 
Así fue mi comienzo en la editorial, todo me parecía extraño. Salir de la Facultad de Ciencias Económicas vestida de traje y zapatos para meterme en una vieja casona de Palermo a ver cómo periodistas, fotógrafos, productores de moda y diseñadores iban dándole forma a esta linda y amada revista. Fue la mejor experiencia laboral que tuve en mi vida, la que me marcó para siempre. Hoy, ver la edición aniversario me llena de orgullo y de completo agradecimiento a todos aquellos que me ayudaron a llegar donde llegué. Después de varias tormentas, crisis económicas por las que todos pasamos en este país, G7 se mantiene en pie, firme, con ganas de seguir por más. Más tapas, nuevos diseños, más historias que contar, más personajes nuevos que mostrar. 
En esta edición, nos dimos el lujo de hacer todo lo que queríamos, entrevistamos a los más grandes, a los mejores en su materia, a esos referentes cuyas frases y experiencias estuvieron alguna vez plasmadas en estas páginas. 
Trabajamos con los profesionales más exitosos de la industria y nos permitimos tomar la foto de tapa con un celular y tener un personaje oculto que le da la espalda al lector -solo por un rato- para mostrar que lo que hoy nos importa es G7: la verdadera protagonista de esta edición, la marca. 
Al fin llegó la edición tan esperada, los 15 años de mi amada G7. Qué increíble, ¿no?.
