This time of year often brings plenty of talk of resolutions and self-improvement and, while that’s often a good thing, it can lead to lots of pressure! I spoke with Kamelia Salimi, CEO and owner of Zoga, about her top three ways to stay grounded when it comes to goal-setting for the year ahead. With the school year well underway, every mum is back into the swing of the term time routine! For some kids, the classroom can bring along a whole host of academic, social and personal pressures. Considering the inﬂuence this has on children’s happiness, I decided to dedicate the entire Education Section to exploring the key touchpoints of a successful experience at  school, because I believe it will be helpful to many parents around the UAE this year. As a girl, I can remember that the summer break seemed to stretch on forever and ever… until that first day of term, which always felt like a rude awakening! Of course, from a mother’s point of view, things look very different and you’ll notice the change to your child’s  habits, focus and schedule. Going back to the classroom is full of transitions, new people and new routines. Sometimes kids need a helping hand to make sure they adapt smoothly.
