The fifth edition of MADAME Arabia sees Egyptian actress Mayan El Sayed gracing the cover. Growing up she was determined that nothing, and no one, would stop her from being an actor. This determination as seen her achieve her dream, with six projects in the pipeline for this year. Speaking of dreams, in this issue we also speak to Cameron Silver, the man behind Decades, the iconic vintage fashion store in Los Angeles, about his latest book Caftans: From Classical to Camp. And while Gabriela Chamorro might once have initially thought travelling the world as part of Emirates’ cabin crew, was the dream, today she is one of Dubai’s most anticipated restaurateurs. She discusses that shift in direction in the pages too. But then again, perhaps the whole premise of putting a time limit on a dream is fundamentally incorrect.
