Agatha Christie is one of the world's most beloved authors. She rose to fame with her novels that defined the 'whodunnit' genre and are still hugely popular today although she died on 12 January 1976. Having sold more than two billion books to date, Christie is the bestselling novelist of all time (outsold only by the Bible and Shakespeare).
