No couple gets to 37 years of marriage without some bumps in the road. And it's no different for showbiz golden couple Richard Madeley and Judy Finnigan, who have had difficulties behind closed doors.

Judy has previously admitted, 'Marriage is hard,' and now the pair's daughter, Chloe Madeley, has revealed that there have been times when her parents were potentially close to throwing in the towel.

"The secret to them having such a long marriage is to not get divorced,' Chloe stated..

"They've been together for over 40 years and during that time there have been periods where they really struggled, but they kept going and stayed together. I don't think it was ever bad enough for them to split.

Richard and Judy have made no secret of the fact their marriage can be fiery. Recalling working together on This Morning in the 80s, 90s and early noughties, Richard admitted they fought.
