Denise and Coleen's FRESH START

The future is looking very different for the Loose Women legends

For Coleen Nolan and Denise Welch, this year is going to be one of change. For while we'll still see them both on Loose Women – albeit in a much reduced capacity with the show airing just 30 weeks of the year – it seems that they're both looking to move on and check out what the world has to offer away from the ITV daytime show.

Indeed, Denise, 67, has said herself that she told her agent back in 2024 – before the changes to Loose Women were announced – that she wanted to 'concentrate on reminding people what I do'. Speaking to trendy fashion magazine i-D, itself a first for Denise, she added that on new TV shows she was finding a real appreciation for her acting craft. 'A lot of people are saying to me, “I've wanted to work with you for a long time. I'm so thrilled that you're here,”' she said.

However, Denise won't be abandoning Loose Women for good. She added, 'Loose Women has been very good to me, and I've been very good to it, and I will continue to do Loose Women.'
