Ex-Loose Women star hits out at her former colleague

Carol McGiffin has launched a shocking and unkind tirade against her ex-ITV colleague Lorraine Kelly, calling her a 'pain in the a**e' and suggesting her morning show should be cancelled.

The 65-year-old journalist, who left Loose Women in 2023, opened up in an episode of her new podcast What's Your Problem? alongside radio presenter Nick Abbot. Discussing the cuts to ITV daytime, which will affect her old show Loose Women as well, Carol didn't hold back with her thoughts, 'They have cut the shows down from 50 weeks a year, I think it was, to 30 weeks a year. And I don't know if they've cut the duration because they definitely have with Lorraine Kelly. [Scottish accent] "Oh that's beautiful, oh that's amazing." Oh she's just a pain in the a**e.

'Some bloke was telling a really terrible, miserable story about a member of his family who had died horribly of cancer or something and she went, "Oh that's great." Because she wasn't f***ing listening, seriously. Anyway, they could do with losing that show completely, saving a bit of money, but I suppose they can't because she's probably got a watertight contract.'
