Yet the pressure of overhauling your life overnight often leads to burnout by February. But instead of chasing perfection, focus on cultivating healthy habits and setting attainable goals that fit seamlessly into your routine.
EASE YOURSELF IN
After the excitement of Christmas and New Year’s, it’s completely normal to feel out of sync with your usual routine. Rather than attempting a dramatic lifestyle overhaul, start by easing your way back into healthy habits. You could even try pairing a new habit or behaviour you’d like to adopt with an old one to make the transition feel more natural.
For example, when you have your morning coffee, try meditating for 10 minutes. This way, you’re adding a positive habit to something you already do, rather than trying to completely upend your current routine.
