Places that sell glasses don’t call them glasses. They call them frames. It’s their view that what you wear to help you see, frames your eyes and face.

LA Eyeworks put it this way: “A face is like a work of art. It deserves a great frame.” I totally agree. That’s not to say I consider my own face a work of art. But occasionally I get the urge to tell someone their wonderful face is compromised by their awful, outdated glasses. “Chuck ’em out and get a pair that does you justice.” Of course, I’ve never said that to anyone and wouldn't. They do cost a lot.
