MILAN FASHION WEEK SPRING/SUMMER 2026

Just after 6 months of what has probably been Fashion’s biggest musical chair, aka creative directors hopping from one brand to another, everyone was waiting for the Spring/Summer 2026 fashion season to showcase the exciting changes. Following the fun and chaotic New York and London Fashion Weeks, Milan Fashion Week did not disappoint at all. In fact, it has quite renewed the phrase "Made in Italy."

The highlight of the week was Giorgio Armani’s show. Staged at the Pinacoteca di Brera museum, the closing show of the week was also the last collection designed by the design “maestro” himself before his unfortunate passing earlier this month. The models walked in duos or small groups, wearing floor-skimming gowns and tailored jackets—the red carpet elegance that Armani is known for. Longtime friends of the designer, including actors Cate Blanchett, Richard Gere, Glenn Close, Lauren Hutton, Samuel L. Jackson, the filmmaker Spike Lee, and designers Paul Smith and Dries Van Noten were present in the front row.
