10am Market stalls

Ludlow’s fine square has hosted markets since the 12th century. With up to five markets a week, the heart of the town is a hive of activity. Sample fine food and drink at the Local Produce Market or browse the crafts on General Market days.

11.30am Off to church

A stroll along cobbled streets brings you to St Laurence’s Church, the largest parish church in the county. Dating back to the 11th century, this imposing structure is home to catacombs, stained-glass windows and a bell tower. If you can brave the narrow staircase, the tower rewards visitors with panoramic views.
