AlUla has numerous hiking trails for adventurers of all levels. From serene strolls through lush oases to challenging treks amidst ancient pictographs, there's a trail for every explorer.
For starters, “The Ridge Walk” is a six-km easy hike that offers spectacular views of the desert landscape. It's perfect for families and groups looking for an undemanding hike while still experiencing the region's gorgeous scenery.
The three-km “Oasis Heritage Trail” takes visitors through mudbrick houses, farms, and ancient city walls. This leisurely walk is open day and night, and can be undertaken by beginners as well.
“The Hidden Valley” hike is four km long and dives into the serene beauty of the Sharaan Nature Reserve. In just under three hours, you'll walk through soft sands and rocky landscapes while relishing the peaceful Arabian Desert ambience.
