Apple Music is marking its 10th anniversary with the launch of a state-of-the-art studio complex in Culver City, California, a 15,000-square-foot creative campus set to open this summer.

APPLE MUSIC CELEBRATES A DECADE WITH A NEW CREATIVE HUB

A FLAGSHIP STUDIO IN LOS ANGELES

Named Apple Music Studios, the three-story facility is designed to be a global hub for artists, offering spaces for music creation, live performances, and fan engagement. Equipped with two advanced radio studios featuring Spatial Audio playback, a 4,000-square-foot soundstage, and a social media lab, the studio aims to foster innovation and deepen connections between musicians and their audiences.

The Los Angeles studio anchors a growing network of Apple Music production spaces, with existing locations in Tokyo, Berlin, Paris, and Nashville, and new hubs planned for New York and London. Zane Lowe, global creative director for Apple Music 1, described it as “the future of listening and enjoying music,” emphasizing its role in creating moments that captivate fans across genres and cultures. The facility's modular design supports live interviews, casual chats, and spontaneous performances, blending high-tech audio with flexible creative spaces.

imageRachel Newman, co-head of Apple Music, called the studio a milestone in the platform's mission to support artists at every level, from recording to storytelling. Built on the legacy of Apple's 2015 acquisition of Beats, the space reflects a decade of prioritizing high-quality sound and artist-driven content. With Culver City’s entertainment hub status—home to Sony Music and Amazon MGM—the studio positions Apple Music as a serious player in music production.
