DYSON LAUNCHES ITS FIRST WET FLOOR CLEANER

The Dyson WashG1 could give other vacuums a run for their money

Since its inception in 1991, Dyson has become a household name for vacuum cleaners, air purifiers, hair stylers and much more. Its most recent launch is the Dyson WashG1 (B67,000, dyson.​com, the brand’s first-ever wet floor cleaner that’s all about mopping.

Dyson has an extensive collection of cordless, corded, upright and robot vacuum cleaners, but the Dyson WashG1 marks the first time that Dyson has created a mop-only device. While it came out with the Dyson Submarine last year, the wet-todry cleaner works by swapping out a vacuum head for a mop head to offer two cleaning services in one.

But for some time now, Dyson’s customer base has been asking for a mop, and now, the Dyson WashG1 is here and one of the most hygienic ways to clean your floor. Unlike a traditional mop and bucket, it uses Dyson’s new separation technology to divide dirty and clean water.
