What's the story?

High brightness and solid specs meet great value for money – if you don't want to splash out on a big brand then the likes of Hisense and TCL are the ones to go for... and the U7N has a solid reputation in the mid-range category for its performance.

OK, it isn't built to the same quality as some – I found a little more flex around the screen when I was dusting it than you might expect – but otherwise it doesn't look too shabby.
