ACER SWIFT 14 AI
PC Pro
|August 2025
A stylish, sleek all-rounder that makes an awful lot of sense if you can find it for under £800
-
When it launched last year, the Acer Swift 14 AI had the makings of a compelling Copilot+ PC but for one thing: its price. Manufacturers could get away with a £1,199 inc VAT asking price on a top-spec model, but not on a mid-range performer using Qualcomm's lower-end Snapdragon X Plus chip. Luckily, it's a different story now that the Swift 14 Al is widely available for around £699 to £799. In fact, at that price it's an absolute bargain.
For a start, you're buying a premium-feel aluminium body in an understated dark metallic shade. It looks great and feels robust, with a 323 x 226mm desktop footprint and a weight of only 1.4kg. It's slim, too, measuring under 15mm at its thickest point. With two USB-A 3.2 Gen 1 ports and a pair of speedy USB-C 4 ports, you've got a decent level of wired connectivity. There's no physical Ethernet port, of course, but it's great to see WiFi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4.
