HALO: CAMPAIGN EVOLVED

As the Halo series continues its drift from legendary to mediocre within the FPS genre, the groundbreaking original game that started it all is back again. And by again, I really do mean again, as lest it be forgotten that Halo: Combat Evolved was already rereleased as the Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary remaster in 2011.

So, what we have here in Halo: Campaign Evolved is a remake of a game that has already had a (well-done and well-received) remake, and one that follows a series of weak, uninspired mainline Halo game releases. But... Halo: Combat Evolved, right?! Master Chief and warthogs and Truth and Reconciliation blaring out at stupidly loud levels. Surely a return to the series' roots once again is cause for celebration after the mess of Halo: Infinite? Hmm...
