Annual Issue 2024 - Collector's Edition

The world will transform significantly in the next 18 years, but the question remains on whether we are prepared for it.

THE NEXT 18 YEARS

Can we really predict the future? The editorial team at Exhibit Magazine give their insight on what might be in store for the future and debates the chances of it happening. From technology to the entertainment industry, let's look at what our future will look like.

image1 CARS

Bidisha:

Self-driving cars will be revolutionary for disabled drivers and generally become a feature for many cars. EVs are a cleaner alternative to petrol cars and might even become a necessity for the Indian population. By 2042, it might make up for more than half the car sales.

Shintu:

While EVs are replacing petrol cars, in the future, Hydrogen-based cars will compete against EVs as they will be cheaper. And yes, hydrogen cars are way better than electric cars because of zero harmful emissions, quick refuelling, and a longer driving range.

Sandesh:

Over the next 18 years, electric cars will zip through city streets like silent electrons, charging up on solar-powered stations as effortlessly as superheroes refuel in comic books. Meanwhile, self-driving cars will become the norm, greatly improving safety, increasing mobility for those who are unable to drive, turning commutes into mobile offices and transforming road trips into scenic joyrides.

Common Conclusion:

The future of cars will include faster vehicles with zero harmful emissions, quick refuelling and more convenient journeys.
