Recently, we tested the Dell 14 Plus (model DB14255), a compact 14-inch laptop featuring the latest AMD Ryzen AI 7 350 processor. Priced at around ₹84,889 for the higher-end model, it comes with Windows 11 Home and Copilot+ AI features. It promises smooth multitasking for mid-level users. But does it truly deliver for work and creativity on a budget? Let's explore.

DESIGN & BUILD

The Dell 14 Plus stands out with its sleek, minimalist design, weighing only 1.52 kg, making it perfect for commuters. Its chassis features a durable aluminium lid and base for a premium feel, though the plastic bezels and palm rest suggest some cost-cutting and may raise concerns about long-term durability.

The 14-inch 2K (2560x1600) IPS LCD offers a 16:10 aspect ratio with 300 nits brightness and 100% sRGB coverage. While it delivers vibrant visuals and is great for productivity, sunlight visibility can be challenging. The backlit keyboard, featuring a dedicated Copilot key, provides good key travel but lacks a numeric keypad.
