Goldman Sachs, which has been Apple's partner since the Apple Card's launch in 2019, is reportedly winding down its consumer credit ambitions after years of losses and operational challenges in retail banking. The bank is actively seeking a buyer to assume its role as the issuing partner of Apple Card and Apple's broader banking services, including the high-yield Apple Savings account.
