Apple’s solution reportedly involves embracing the Matter standard — a unifying protocol that allows smart home devices from various manufacturers to communicate seamlessly. By supporting Matter, Apple’s hub could bridge the gap between disparate devices, providing users with a cohesive and user-friendly experience.
At the heart of this new device is the integration of Apple Intelligence, the company’s advanced AI framework that powers the latest iteration of Siri. Unlike previous versions, this upgraded Siri is expected to offer more natural language processing, context-aware responses, and deeper integration with home automation tasks. This means users could control their entire home using voice commands that feel more conversational and intuitive.
