Lenovo's Chief Data Scientist, David Ellison, is spearheading the integration of AI into the company's PCs and smart gadgets, ushering in a new era of innovation. Ellison initiated his career at the United States Postal Service, where he devised data-driven solutions to optimize mail services. Prior to that he developed AI and Computer Vision solutions during his PhD at Johns Hopkins University.

Joining Lenovo in 2018, David Ellison has played a pivotal role in driving the company's commitment to democratizing AI. His responsibilities encompass the development and implementation of AI solutions across Lenovo's diverse portfolio, spanning smart devices, smart infrastructure, and smart solutions. Additionally, he leads Lenovo's artificial intelligence research and fosters collaborations with prominent academic and business partners.
