Macleod all set for Leinster challenge

JOSH Macleod is proof positive of the virtues of patience and perseverance.
It was back in 2020 that the Scarlets flanker was first called up by Wales. But, five years on, he has just two caps to his name.
That, to a large extent, is due to the horrendous misfortune he has endured on the injury front. There's been a ruptured Achilles, knee ligament damage, shoulder surgery and hamstring issues.
But, this season, his luck has finally changed. He's made 19 starts, scoring nine tries, leading by example as skipper in guiding the Scarlets into the URC play-offs and a quarter final clash with Leinster at Dublin's Aviva Stadium on Saturday.
His consistent excellence on both sides of the ball has seen him selected for Wales' summer tour of Japan, presenting him with the opportunity to add to those two caps he won in the autumn of 2022.
