DOGGED back row Sam Dugdale is determined to build his legacy in the game on the unseen, hard work which complements the big name stars around him.
Sale’s injury crisis gave the 24-year-old the chance to make 26 appearances across all competitions last season. He was a key part of Sale’s title push, awarded player of the match for an incredible tackling display in their final round victory over Saracens which ensured the northerners reached the semi-finals.
Alex Sanderson’s side lost to Bath in the final four and Dugdale says they’ve been working hard in pre-season in a bid to deliver a first Premiership title since 2006.
