STOURBRIDGE fans face an anxious wait to discover where the club will play home matches from next season with stands and floodlights to be torn down on safety grounds.
The Glassboys announced on Friday that large parts of the War Memorial Ground, leased from Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council, would have to make way after experts raised red flags over deteriorating banks just outside the stadium boundary.
Stourbridge shares its home with the town's cricket club. It has stands on two of the three sides that can be occupied by supporters with one side left open to accommodate the cricket pitch.
