CORRY Evans is looking forward to a second Wembley play-off final appearance in three years.
The 34-year-old defender captained Sunderland to glory with victory against Wycombe Wanderers in the 2022 League One decider.
“It was a great day out, and even better when you win. It is an unbelievable way to get promoted, the best,” he explained.
Evans had been to Wembley many times previously as a spectator to watch older brother Jonny playing for Man United.
He said: “I went to watch their Champions League final against Barcelona and have been to FA Cup and League Cup finals and FA Cup semis.
