'BUZZING' JONES IS SO PROUD OF LEGACY

ALDERSHOT Town skip-per Aaron Jones says he was “buzzing” for the fans after he lifted the FA Trophy following his side’s victory over Spennymoor Town.

“It is amazing to have a moment like this because in ‘92 they reformed as Aldershot FC after going out of business and then in 2013 they were in administration again,” said Jones, 31.

“The supporters have been to hell and back so to give them such a moment today and some joy in the sunshine in the most iconic ground in the country just feels incredible and you could see what it meant to them all. I am buzzing for them and everyone involved at the football club.

“When we went 3-0 up, I started looking around at the 18-19,000 Aldershot fans. It was one of those moments where you take stock of your life when you can’t believe what’s happening.
