Celtic have won the Scottish title convincingly four years in a row, honed into a relentless domestic force by Ange Postecoglou and the returning Brendan Rodgers. They were buoyed - or Bhoyed - by intelligent recruitment and the compound interest of Champions League earnings, and it was hard to see how Rangers could bridge the gap. But suddenly there's hope, following the club's multi-million pound buyout from a consortium that includes the investment arm of the San Francisco 49ers. A new-look senior management team includes head coach Russell Martin and sporting director Kevin Thelwell, once of Everton.
