ICC WOMEN'S WORLD CUP 2025: WILL HEAVYWEIGHTS AUSTRALIA ADD MORE GLOSS TO THEIR TROPHY CABINET?

Like the men's team, the Australian women's cricket team has a habit of making it big in ICC tournaments, and the upcoming ICC Women's World Cup could be another platform for them to add more silverware to their rich cabinet. Australia are seven-time winners of the ICC Women's ODI World Cup. Apart from being 7-time winners, the Aussie Women have been two-time runners-up. They have finished 3rd once, 4th once and another time they reached the semis.

Australia suffered a blip with all-rounder Grace Harris getting ruled out of the tourney recently. She has been replaced in the squad by Heather Graham. The player is a fast bowling all-rounder with six international appearances. The 8-team tournament will see everyone play each other, and the top four sides from the table will make it to the last four (semifinals). Australia, who warmed up for the tournament by beating the Indian women's cricket team 2-1 in a three-match ODI series, will be up for it.
