(AUSI), a renewable energy joint venture between Aboitiz Power Distributed Renewables, Inc. and Upgrade Energy Philippines (UGEP), has marked a key milestone in the country's energy transition after officially commencing commercial operations of two new solar projects, backed by financing from the Bank of the Philippine Islands.

With BPI's support, AUSI is now delivering clean and reliable power to Kinpo Electronics (Philippines) Inc.'s facility in Lima, Batangas, while also supplying renewable energy to Balesin Island in Luzon. The projects add fresh capacity to the Philippines' growing renewable energy mix and underscore the expanding role of private-sector partnerships in accelerating the shift toward sustainable power.
