30 payout sites for P5K assistance to drivers identified

THE Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) on Monday identified 30 payout sites in Metro Manila for the distribution of the P5,000 Cash Relief Assistance (CRA) to some 139,000 tricycle drivers operating in the National Capital Region.
DSWD Secretary Rex Gatchalian, in a joint press conference with Department of Transportation (DOTr) Acting Secretary Giovanni Lopez and Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) Chairman Vigor Mendoza II, affirmed the start of the CRA payout for tricycle drivers today, Tuesday, simultaneously in several areas across the 17 local government units in NCR.
Gatchalian said the payout for the tricycle drivers in NCR would be until Thursday.
The 30 payout sites in Metro Manila are the Patricia Paraiso Sports Complex, 658 Flora St., Tondo; Barangay 377 Covered Court, Pampanga St., Sta. Cruz; Dakota Covered Court, Barangay 659 Ermita; ASAC Covered Court, Barangay 627, and M. Araullo St., Sta. Mesa, all in Manila.
In Quezon City, the sites are in the former District Action Office, Barangay Katipunan; SB Park Batasan Hills, Barangay Batasan Hills; 5K People’s Park Covered, Court, Barangay Milagrosa; Risen Garden, Quezon City Hall, Diliman; Buenamar Park, Novaliches, Barangay Novaliches Proper; and Sunville Covered Court, Barangay Culiat.
The payout sites in Caloocan are at Buena Park, Barangay 80; UE Subdivision Club House 964; Pacquiao Covered Court Sports Complex, Bagumbong; and Glorietta Park, Barangay 187 Tala; in Malabon, the site is at the Malabon Sports Complex Oval Bgy. Hulong Duhat, Malabon City; in Navotas City, the site is the Navotas Convention Center; and in Valenzuela City, the sites are the Valenzuela City Amphitheater, and ALERT Multipurpose Hall.
The payout sites in eastern Metro Manila are the Mandaluyong College of Science and Technology Gymnasium in Mandaluyong City; Plenary Marikina Convention Center in Marikina City; Pineda Multipurpose Hall, Barangay Pineda; and Damayan Multipurpose Hall, Barangay Pinagbuhatan in Pasig City; and Makabagong San Juan Theater, National Government Agency in San Juan City.
