Shandy Hall, the former home of extraordinary 18th century writer Laurence Sterne, is hosting a rare northern exhibition of works by the internationally acclaimed Leeds-born artist Glen Baxter.
Born in Leeds in 1944, Glen Baxter studied at Leeds College of Art and now exhibits worldwide.
His distinctive drawings - ink and crayon compositions paired with deadpan captions - have earned him a cult following and a place in major collections, including those of the Tate Gallery and the Victoria and Albert Museum.
