Leeds blow as Smith ruled out for play-offs

HAMMER BLOW: Cameron Smith has been ruled out for the season.

Leeds Rhinos co-captain Cameron Smith is set to miss the rest of of the Super League season with a troublesome back injury.
Coach Brad Arthur revealed the loose-forward is not expected to return from his back problem before the end of the current campaign. Smith is co-captain with Ash Handley who is also on the injury list and predicted to miss at least the next two games.
There is more positive news with props Keenan Palasia, pictured inset, and Tom Holroyd pencilled in to feature against Catalans Dragons next week, though both will sit out tonight's Betfred Super League visit to Huddersfield Giants.
