José offers an escape route for Sancho as Reds target £29.5m man

According to Sport Witness, Fenerbahçe manager José Mourinho has “given his approval” for the Turkish side to make a bid for Jadon Sancho - which could make life easier for either of the Portuguese coach's former sides.

As it stands, Chelsea must either pay a fee of up to £25m to sign Sancho permanently after his disappointing loan spell, or give Manchester United £5m to cancel the agreement. Either way, one of two sides will be stuck with a player that they probably don’t want.
