The pizza debate is one that rages across the globe.

There are the purists who will rank classic Neapolitan pizzas above all others. Others prefer a New York-style slice. Many like a late-night booze-soaker option dripping in cheese-flavoured grease.

Pizza Punks have decided against nailing their colours to a particular mast, instead blending Italian craft with American ambition, creating a pizza fusion with the potential to please both sides of the aisle.

You could call them the centrists of the pizza world - were the majority of their menu items not so wonderfully 'out there'.

Bond Street in Leeds is home to one of six Pizza Punks restaurants, and they specialise in adventurous pizza.
