Holiday horror as mum stung over 100 times

A Leeds mum has told how her holiday was ruined when she was stung more than 100 times by wasps at a caravan park.

Alison Riley, 34, her husband Adam and two sons were enjoying a break at the Haven Caravan Park in Skegness.

She had gone to to grab a hairband from their caravan on July 29 when a swarm of hundreds of wasps descended and began stinging her all over.

Alison screamed and ran while holidaymakers tried to help by spraying her with a hose and hitting her with towels to waft the wasps away.
