Echobelly on new territory and kicking Britpop to the kerb

Echobelly's autumn tour will break new ground for a band that's been going for more than 30 years.

For the first time, the indie group fronted by Sonya Madan, and still featuring Glenn Johansson on guitar, will perform one of their albums in its entirety to celebrate a special anniversary, including a date in Leeds.

On was the band's was the band's most commercially successful long-player, reaching number four in the UK charts in 1995 and spawning three hit singles - Great Things, King of the Kerb and Dark Therapy.
